Alyssa Mougia
Alyssa has always had a love for any kind of artistic sport, whether it was gymnastics or dance, she loved every second. In her years at Lakeview Centennial, Alyssa was a four year member of the Lakeview Centennial Dance Company. She learned and danced under her favorite teacher ever Mrs. Christal Post. Most of her fondest memories from high school come from Mrs. Post and the good times she had at the dance studio in her classes. Upon graduating high school in 2019, Alyssa was a member of the North Texas Dancers Pom squad where she performed at football, basketball, and volleyball games. She graduated from UNT in 2021 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and went on to be a stretch therapist, dance teacher, gymnastics coach, and so much more! She is now married to her husband Ethan and helps out his little sister with her gymnastics. Alyssa is forever grateful for the many opportunities that the dance program and Mrs. Post gave her in her high school years. Though she doesn’t dance as much as she used to, she uses all the lessons she’s learned and applies them to her everyday life. She wants to let Mrs. Post know how much she loves her and appreciates everything she did for her.
